About the Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering high-standard mechanical and structural engineering projects. Your role will involve maintaining design integrity, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the successful execution of key initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality mechanical engineering services on schedule and within budget.
  • Develop, review, and manage engineering drawings, documentation, and technical files.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define project objectives.
  • Lead mechanical engineering projects from planning through to completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Key Tasks
  • Perform detailed mechanical and structural analyses using advanced engineering tools and software.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
  • Evaluate the mechanical integrity, feasibility, and safety of engineering solutions.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with designs and regulations.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other disciplines to integrate mechanical systems into broader project designs.
  • Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and regulatory changes.

About You
To thrive in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in mechanical and structural engineering.
  • A solid foundation in mechanical design, analysis, and project implementation.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of Australian engineering codes and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Effective project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • A leadership mindset with a desire to support and mentor junior team members.
