Delivery Driver - Rockhampton The role will see you delivering parcels, boxes and freight around Rockhampton. Deliveries are made into some residential homes, businesses and shopping centres.
You will need to be able to learn and use a PDA scanning system. Full training is provided.
This is a very physical role and if you don't like keeping fit and active then this is not the position for you. Some heavy lifting is required and you need to be physically able to walk, bend and push through your shift each day. The majority of your loads will be hand loading and hand off loading.
$31.00 p/hr car licence
$35.00 p/hr for MR licence or higher
You MUST be a peoples person who knows how to be polite and friendly to the customers and other staff members at the depot. If you're not sure about how to do something, it is OK to ask for help. Help will be given until you feel you are comfortable and able to complete the role on your own.
REQUIREMENTS: Open Car Licence - minimum
MR Licence and Forklift an advantage
Physically able to carry out the role
Good knowledge of technology
Great friendly personality
This is for an immediate start.
Monday - Friday work
Early morning starts and work finishing around 4.30pm
35-45hrs per week
