Achieve Group is seeking experienced Carpenters to work with our client with their Rapid Accommodation and Apprenticeship Centre project located in Portsmith. These positions are an ASAP start and will run until 30th June 2025.
About the Role:You will be building new modular homes with timber frame construction, and we require skilled carpenters who are experienced in working with timber-framed homes from the ground up. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in residential construction, particularly in new build projects, and a strong understanding of carpentry techniques for timber structures.
Carpenter Background & Skills:- Proven experience working as a carpenter, with a focus on new builds or timber frame construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Proficiency in installing and fitting structural components such as windows, doors, flooring, and roofs
- Experience with framing, decking, and timber framing
- Competent in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
