Job Title: Trainee - Certificate II in Civil Construction

Location: Mount Morgan
Employment Type: Full-Time Traineeship  Max Term

We are seeking a motivated individual to undertake a traineeship in Civil Construction, leading to a nationally recognized Certificate II in Civil Construction. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn while you earn and gain hands-on experience in a rapidly growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of civil construction sites
- Work with tools, equipment, and machinery relevant to civil construction
- Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines on site
- Support tradespeople in various tasks such as road construction, concreting, pipe laying, and earthworks
- Participate in on-the-job and classroom-based training

Requirements:

- No previous experience required, but a strong interest in civil construction is essential
- White Card essential
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- A positive attitude and commitment to safety practices
- Availability to work full-time and attend off-site training as required
- A current driver’s license MR highly regarded (or ability to obtain one) is preferred
- Capable of working 12 hour days, 6 days a week.
