We have opportunities for an experienced
Civil Engineers with expertise in managing
asphalt-focused projects end-to-end. You will have a solid understanding of Queensland road standards and practical experience in key areas like remediation, milling, filling, and working with underground utilities.
- Requires: Relevant degree in Civil Engineering and extensive experience in asphalt projects within Queensland.
- Salary guide: $100,000- $150,000 Depending on Experience.
- Location: Townsville and regional North Queensland
Your normal day will involve:- Managing road construction.
- Patchwork and remediation projects.
- Ensuring compliance with council regulations and Australian road construction standards.
- Planning project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Identifying and mitigating risks, particularly those related to underground infrastructure such as gas pipes, electrical and water lines.
- Leading and coordinating teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
You will need:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in asphalt projects within Queensland for construction projects.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
