Achieve are recruiting for an MR Delivery Driver in Cairns. This is a Monday - Friday position, casual but fulltime hours.
Are you able to work early morning starts, with afternoon finishes?
You will be responsible for hand loading and unloading your truck and making deliveries.
This is a very physical role as there can be anywhere from 40 - 80 drops per day. With that comes a lot of in and out of the cab of the truck. You will need to be physically capable of walking long distances and able to perform heavy lifting in a safe manner.
Customer service is a big part of the role so we are looking for someone who has exceptional skills in customer relations. Time management is also a big part of the role, while you need to drive safely on the roads, on the big delivery days you also need to have the ability to drop and go.
This role can lead to a permanent position for the right staff members.
$36.00p/hr + overtime rates. Weekly pay and weekly Super.
REQUIREMENTS MR Truck Licence (min)
Forklift Ticket (advantageous but not necessary)
Own transport for getting to work
Reliable
Ability to work within a team
Good driving record
Good knowledge of Cairns and the Cairns region
