This could be the opportunity for you.
Parcel delivery in and around the Mackay region. This position is multi-drop so there is a lot of in and out of the trucks. You will need to be physically able to do that and have the ability to lift up to 25kg on your own. There is a lot of walking, bending, squatting and carrying.
We are looking for individuals who have a pleasant demeanor around customers and other staff members.
You will need some skills based around technology as you will be using a hand scanner (training provided)
Trucks are hand loaded and unloaded the majority of the time.
We are covering several different roles as per the list:
MR Driver
HR Driver with forklift for bulk runs.
PUD car licenced delivery driver Experienced drivers who have done similar types of roles will be given preference.
REQUIREMENTS MR or HR Truck Licence
Open car licence
Forklift ticket
Ability to physically do the role
Some technical knowledge
Good driving history
Ability to pass D&A when required
Monday 6am starts with 6.30am starts the rest of the week. Ability to work through until your run is finished each day.
Pay is weekly and will be discussed at the time of interview due to there being several roles available.
Casual position to start, but this employer is very proactive at offering full-time permanent positions to the right candidate.
