Skilled Excavator & Skid Steer Operator - Townsville About the Role: We are seeking experienced Excavator and Skid Steer Operators for ongoing work in civil construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil operations, including earthworks, trenching, site preparation, and general excavation tasks.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate excavators and skid steers safely and efficiently on civil construction sites.
• Perform earthmoving, trenching, grading, and backfilling tasks as required.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
• Follow site safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other team members.
Requirements: • Proven experience operating excavators and skid steers in civil construction.
• Relevant tickets and licenses (e.g., Excavator & Skid Steer ticket, White Card).
• Understanding of safety regulations and ability to follow site instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
