Experienced Machine Operators - Civil Construction Brisbane About Us: Achieve Group are a leading resourcing provider in the civil construction industry. We are looking to expand our team with motivated and experienced Machine Operators to join us on multiple upcoming projects in North & South Brisbane.
Job Description: As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to assist in the construction of roads, subdivisions, and other civil infrastructure. We are seeking operators skilled in:
• Excavators (various sizes)
• Loaders
• Graders
• Dozers
• Rollers
• Bobcats/Skid steers
• Moxy dump truck & Water Moxy Cart
Candidates with Caterpillar experience are highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities: • Safely operate machinery in line with site safety standards
• Carry out machine maintenance checks and basic repairs
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and crew
• Follow project plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Conduct earthworks, trenching, roadworks, and other civil construction tasks as required
• Report any hazards or issues on-site
Requirements: • Relevant RII tickets or licenses for operating heavy machinery
• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Ability to read and understand construction plans (desirable)
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to OH&S regulations
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions
