Key responsibilities- Lead the planning and delivery of learning and development strategies and programs.
- Manage the annual Learning Plan and training budget.
- Work with leaders to identify learning needs and skill gaps.
- Develop project plans and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with leadership on initiatives to support strategic goals.
- Align learning and development strategies with business objectives.
- Analyse workforce trends and adjust learning strategies accordingly.
- Drive change initiatives and communicate goals to stakeholders.
- Design programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Continuously gather feedback to improve the workplace environment.
- Use data to assess the effectiveness of learning programs and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to the strategic plans and ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental policies.
About you- Hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Organisational Learning, or related field.
- Completed a certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
- Have a strong background in learning and development or organisational development.
- A strong understanding of HR principles and employment legislation.
- Possess excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive change in a complex environment.
- Be a strategic thinker with the ability to align business goals with actionable plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and data analytics.
- Hold a Queensland C Class Driver’s Licence.
- A current National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one prior to offer.
