Achieve Group are seeking an experienced and talented Supervisor to join our client’s team. In this full-time role, you will oversee and coordinate construction activities at sites in Townsville, Queensland.
What you will be doing:- Oversee and manage construction activities, work crews, and subcontractors on site
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Track project progress, maintain work quality, and address any issues or delays
- Create and implement work plans and schedules to ensure timely project completion
- Lead, mentor, and train construction teams to enhance performance
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders for smooth project execution
What you will bring:- At least 3 years of experience as a Supervisor or Foreperson in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, tools, and equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict management skills
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
- Proven experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating work crews
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
